Growing Bilingual Brains: A First-Year Perspective

Two first year Dual Language Teachers will share their successes and challenges as a first year Dual Language Teacher. This will be tied into curriculum alignment (planning and teaching in two languages), Dual Language instructional strategies, managing different proficiency levels, time management, and building classroom culture across both languages. Lastly, the Dual Language Coordinator and Assistant principal will speak about their approach to supporting first year Dual Language teachers.   Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) Grades: 3-5
