Playful Math Outdoors: Trails, Stories, and Documentation

Together, we will explore: Math Trails: Guided outdoor challenges that connect real-world math concepts to playful, hands-on tasks like measuring with natural objects, sketching patterns, estimating distances, or building shapes. Play-Based Provocations: Activities across the math strands that invite problem-solving and creativity through movement, collaboration, and natural materials. Formative Assessment Strategies: Practical ways to observe, question, and capture evidence of student understanding in outdoor spaces.
