Spot Them, Support Them
Part of GETCA 2026
Friday 27 February 2026·6:40 pm
Learn how to spot the early signs of academic struggle and what to do next. This session will give you practical strategies to support students right away: what to look for, how to support them in class and potential next steps before moving to a Psychoeducational assessment or while waiting for one. If you are worried students might be falling through the cracks or you do not know how best to focus your energy and attention, this session is for you. Although a lot of strategies will be geared towards Language Arts, many can be applied across subjects.
