Track & Field 101 for Teachers

Teachers of all grades (K-12) are invited to attend Track & Field 101 for Teachers! This will be very practical and hands on instructional session, realistic to teachers teaching track and field out of gym, with limited equipment, and resources. Some of the topics that will be included are: -Foundations and Progressions of Running, Jumping, Throwing, and Wheeling Events -How to plan Track & Field for PE classes -Ideas and adaptations for teaching track and field We know that most children are introduced to track and field in the school system, and we want to help teachers have the tools and confidence to teach the foundations, regardless of the resources they have!
