Understanding The Teenage Brain: Led by psychologist Bradley Busch, this workshop offers an in-depth look into the unique workings of the teenage brain and the practical implications for education. It explores how the adolescent brain differs from that of adults, particularly in areas related to risk-taking, self-control, emotional regulation. The session highlights the critical role of sleep in teenage development—why it’s both especially vital and particularly challenging for this age group. Teachers will also learn evidence-based strategies to help students reduce fear of failure and procrastination, as well as tools to better manage stress. By understanding the neurological and psychological changes occurring during adolescence, educators will be better equipped to support teenage learners both academically and emotionally.
