Implementing an AI Communities of Practice

Educators in Michigan are currently building capacity to use artificial intelligence (AI) in the classroom for tasks such as assessment, engagement, and AI literacy through a scalable Community of Practice model led by REMC. You’ll explore facets of the model and resources used by CoP members that can be adopted or adapted for use in your own school, district, or region. Impact data from the first cohorts showing statistically significant increases in general and specific AI competencies will be shared. These metrics are based on participant self-reporting on areas of engagement, AI competencies and community. Come to find resources to help you explore another method.
