Together in the Work: Implementing AI with Intention

Fraser Public Schools, in partnership with Barton Malow's Constructive Learning Education, is piloting a department-level initiative to integrate AI into teaching through a human-centered, intentional change model. Focused initially on ELA and Social Studies, this work empowers educators to codesign guardrails, norms, and AI-augmented lessons aligned with the WISE framework and Universal Design for Learning. Through hands-on workshops and micro-pilot cycles, teachers are given time to explore AI’s role in their content areas, reflect on its impact, and build inclusive practices. The session will share Fraser and Constructive Learning's approach to fostering teacher agency, academic integrity, and sustainable innovation. Participants will engage with the SPARK Prompting Framework, draft UDL-aligned lesson plans, and leave with practical tools for leading AI change in their own contexts.
