Want to “make beats?” Through this hands-on session participants will learn the basics of beat production and how to use DAWs, drum grids, piano rolls, samples, and more. This session will also offer an introduction to midi controllers and drum machines, exploring their functions, features, and creative applications in music production. Participants will leave with resources to implement beat making in the classroom. Bring a blank flash drive (32gb min.) for a free sample library!
