No “F-Shnarps”! Strategies for Playing with Accurate Intonation

One of the most challenging skills for beginners is the ability to perform with accurate intonation. In this session, factors that influence intonation will be discussed, such as ear training, motor skills, and repertoire. A melodic approach to teaching pitches will be demonstrated that will help students play in tune right from the start.
