Sight-Singing Success: Kodaly for the Secondary Choral Classroom

Many secondary choral programs inherit students with no prior musical experience. This workshop provides educators with engaging strategies for introducing sight-reading and the Kodaly Method to older singers. Participants will learn to develop sequential sight-reading instruction, utilize Kodaly solfege for enhanced aural skills and fluency, and foster an inclusive learning environment. Attendees will leave with ready-to-use exercises, strategies for aural development, and the confidence to build a successful sight-reading program.
