C-7: Preventing the Development of Bias in Early Childhood: Foundations and Reflection

This session introduces early childhood professionals to the origins of racial bias in young children and explores implicit and explicit bias in adults. Participants reflect on their own cultural identities, discuss developmentally appropriate strategies for addressing bias, and practice language for talking about differences with children and families.
