D-7: The Value and Practice of Intentional Parent Observation in ECFE: An Action Research Study

This presentation shares an action research study exploring how intentional, developmentally aligned observation prompts increased parents’ understanding of their child's development in an ECFE class. Findings highlight shifts in parent awareness, practical strategies for guided observation, and the power of action research to strengthen ECFE practice. The teaching intervention will also be considered for broader use in parent education.
