Crochet for Beginners (Double Session)

Participants will explore how to incorporate crochet into the CTS fashion studies curriculum. Over the half-day session, participants will learn basic stitches needed to complete a beginner project. Together, we will work through a project and learn different ways we can adapt the skills to a variety of students. By the end of the session, participants will have resources and project ideas to use in their classrooms. This session does not require pre-registration. A fee of $10 will cover the cost of materials and will be paid at the door. Session Objectives: 1. Participants will learn basic stitches and concepts to complete a project. 2. Participants will have some project ideas and evaluation tools they can use in their CTS/CTF classroom. 3. Participants will learn how to read a crochet pattern.
