Tips for Teaching High School Students About Investing

Does investing seem overwhelming? If so, then this session is for you. In this session, Maria will break down key terms and concepts about investing and share tips for how to teach high school students about investing in a way that is relevant and relatable to them. She will share resources that can be used in the classroom as well as potential assessment ideas and templates. Teachers will leave this session with a better understanding of investing as well as different ways it can be taught to high school aged students. Session Objectives: 1. CALM 20 - R9:examine various types of investments and the practical and ethical issues of investing
