Supporting Adolescent Women in Being and Becoming Artists

Art history and art education have marginalized women artists, affecting young women's artistic identity development. This poster session presents findings from my dissertation, an a/r/tographic study exploring how collaborative, reflective artmaking and shared experiences support adolescent women and nonbinary students in developing as artists and building strong artistic identities.
