(TICKET REQUIRED) Art Build Workers: Art Advocacy & Building Together

Join the Community Art Caucus for a pre-NAEA26 community collaborative event, "Art-Build" with Kim Cosier and Josie Osborne from the Art Build Workers. We will explore collaborative artmaking as a tool for advocacy, healing, and transformation through the creation of parachutes, banners, buttons, and more. In addition to working alongside one another, participants will gain experience and resources to amplify community and organizational messaging through the arts and feel empowered to facilitate arts advocacy work with their students and communities. This drop-in event welcomes attendees to come and go throughout the session. A late lunch is included with the listed ticket price. A Know Before You Go communication will be shared closer to the Convention with additional scheduling details to help guide your attendance planning. Please note: Transportation is not provided for this community collaborative event. Registrants are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the event.
