Boys in Art: What They Teach Us About healthy Masculinity
Part of 2026 NAEA National Convention
Thursday 5 March 2026·6:00 pm
Using examples of visual artwork created by male-identifying students, we will look at the emotional content that surfaces in imagery involving sports, social and cultural pressures, media, and learning and behavioral diagnosis. Connecting these narratives to mental health, we look at particular issues pertinent to healthy expressions of masculinity for boys. Space for discussion and reflection.
