(TICKET REQUIRED) Shared Print & Page: Collaborative Storytelling

Join teaching artists Yoonshin Park and Jess Atieno, who collaborate and coteach at the Art Center and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, as they explore the book as a shared space for storytelling and creative exchange. While demonstrating simple printing techniques and basic artists' book structures, the artists invite participants to experiment with layering and sequencing to build collective narratives that weave together personal and communal voices. Leave with a handmade book and a fresh understanding of how stories can take shape through collaborative creation. This site visit will also include an introduction to the Art Center, a tour of Yoonshin Park’s solo exhibition titled Prompt and Prompted, and visits to each artists’ residency studio inside the Guida Family Wing. Transportation is included for this off-site workshop experience.
