Children’s Literature and Multimodal Resources that Critically Center All Families

This presentation by a kindergarten/first grade teacher discusses how children’s literature and other multimodal resources can be used to honor and extend a variety of family cultures, languages, and structures with young children. Connections to culturally sustaining and critical literacy teaching practices across PK-5 grades will be offered.
