STEAMming from Literacy: Empowering Multilingual Learners to Think, Read, and Lead in K–12 STEAM Classrooms
Tuesday 17 March 2026·3:15 pm
This interactive session explores how literacy fuels STEM learning in K–12 classrooms—especially for multilingual learners. Participants will engage in hands-on, language-rich STEM experiences that connect reading, writing, and oral language to science and engineering practices. Through modeled lessons and collaborative tasks, attendees will practice strategies such as inquiry-based read-alouds, science journals, and multilingual word walls that strengthen both content knowledge and academic discourse.
