Teaching Historical Fiction Through Novel Study: Interdisciplinary ELA with A Sky Full of Song

In this session, the audience will explore strategies for using a book study model to design an interdisciplinary unit for ELA and social studies in grades 4โ6. Using the historical fiction novel A Sky Full of Song, presenters will share their unit planning process and describe their classroom collaboration.
