It is commonly beaded and seen in powwow regalia. In this class you will make a pair that fits your own feet (or the feet of someone else) by tracing your foot and making a personalized pattern off your own foot. You'll learn how to make custom moccasins for any foot. We utilize moose hide for this class, which is soft and buttery. You can adapt this pattern to include a hard sole, and the process is the same. However, in this class, we will be teaching a soft sole version because it is easier for beginners. Our classes are meant to enrich your understanding of Indigenous culture.
