Investigating University Supervisors' Approach to Generative Artificial Intelligence Adoption

This qualitative research study investigated the decision-making process of student teaching supervisors when considering the adoption of GenAI technologies in their teaching and supervision. The findings provide a detailed picture of individual considerations, such as perceived benefits, cost, and long-term consequences, influencing GenAI adoption amongst faculty who serve as university supervisors to support student teaching candidates in North Carolina.
