Little Coders, Big Ideas: Robotics in Early Education

Part of NCTIES 2026
Friday 6 March 2026·1:00 pm

In this session, we will explore how to seamlessly integrate robotics into everyday classroom curriculum, with a specific focus on lower elementary students. We will showcase a few age-appropriate robots that are designed to engage young learners and help bring STEM concepts to life in a hands-on way. By incorporating robotics into daily lessons, educators can foster a more dynamic and interactive learning environment. We will highlight how this approach not only supports the STEM vision within schools but also contributes to improved student engagement, increased enjoyment of learning, and a decrease in negative behaviors. Through this presentation, educators will walk away with practical strategies and insights for using robotics to ignite curiosity, enhance problem-solving skills, and create a fun, tech-rich classroom experience for all students.
