Next-Gen Creators: Mixtapes, Chiptunes, and Side-Scrollers

Students from Lexington City High School and SEA-Tech High School SparkNC programs present two dynamic projects with a retro twist: original chiptune soundtracks (Digital Mixtapes) and full, playable arcade-style video games. Using industry tools (Construct 3, BandLab), scholars demonstrate high-level tech mastery, computational thinking, and 90s digital artistry. Attendees are invited to "Press Start" to play the games and explore the code/sound design with the student creators.
