Putting the A in STEAM

Does that little art "A" scare you sometimes? Come join us for some hands-on centers to learn about great art opportunities that you can incorporate in your STEM or media classes on your own or in collaboration with your school's art specialist. All activities will have various levels of "artsiness" needed so you can find your best fit. Centers will include activities such as green screen hot air balloons, talking animal art, blackout poetry design, and more. All activities are centered around elementary-age students and will use standards from grade-level literacy and science, engineering, and art. Participants will walk away with ideas for lessons, hand-outs, book pairing suggestions, and free resource ideas.
