Designing a meaningful novel study goes beyond assigning chapters. Participants will learn how to pair novels with informational texts, primary sources, and multimedia to deepen understanding of themes, as well as how to scaffold reading through questioning, vocabulary support, and gradual release. Walk away with a framework and practical strategies to design novel studies that engage, challenge, and support every student.
