Student Voices on Air: Building a Morning News Team
Part of NCTIES 2026
Thursday 5 March 2026·7:15 pm
Discover how to empower students to take the lead with a student-run morning news show. In this session, you’ll learn how to create a small group or club that gives students ownership of the show—from writing scripts and anchoring to producing and managing the technology—while developing valuable real-world skills they can use beyond the classroom. You’ll leave the session not only with the knowledge and insights we’ve gained from running our own morning show but also with all the resources needed to launch and sustain a student-led news program from the ground up.
