The Active, Integrated, Innovative Library: A plot twist delivered by techs-ploration

In essence, an active, integrated, innovative library is a living, evolving learning environment that empowers students and community members to read, research, create, connect, and innovate. It’s not just a room with books—it’s the heartbeat of a global learning community that can be accessed anytime, anywhere.We will share a medley of digital learning strategies and technology tools that can promote an information fluent environment in the classroom, as well as the media center. This session will explore collaborative ways for librarians and teachers to engage students, explore standards, explain concepts, elaborate or extend lessons and evaluate learning.You will take away a “snippet” of our expanding DTL Hub of integrated K-5 lesson plans using varied tech tools including Blue Bots, Indi Cars, Dash, Sphero balls, Adobe Express, Merge Cube, Quiver, and 3D printing.
