The Next Take: "Making Headlines to Build School Community"

After attending and participating in "From Concept to Broadcast" session last year at NCTies, we have collaborated across districts to make our student-led news broadcasts a networking opportunity for teachers and students. Come join us as we build on the basics of creating a school news broadcast and shift the focus to cross-schools collaboration. We'll share best practices as attendees will have the opportunity to begin building their own newscast with a global focus. Participants will be able to share resources and ideas with the community of educators, ensuring that you'll be able to walk away with ideas to build your own collaborative news network.
