Using Digital Tools to enhance ELA Curriculum
Part of NCTIES 2026
Friday 6 March 2026·2:00 pm
ELA instruction doesn’t have to feel routine—students thrive when we bring joy and creativity into the curriculum. In this session, we’ll show how digital tools can refresh Wit and Wisdom (and other ELA programs) by blending innovation with core literacy goals. Teachers will explore green screen projects to boost vocabulary and concept mastery, VR field trips to increase background knowledge, AI tools that support stronger writing, and student-friendly creation apps that let kids play with themes and ideas in meaningful ways. You’ll leave with practical, classroom-ready strategies to spark engagement while keeping the rigor intact.
