Zines,
This hands-on workshop invites educators and teaching professionals to step into ITSE's role of designers; blending art and technology to help students share their thinking in fresh, interactive ways. Participants will explore how platforms like Canva, Google Slides, and Book Creator can be used to create digital collages, interactive displays, and immersive presentations where students can showcase research findings, book reflections and analysis, or even explain key concepts across the curriculum. By modeling the process of curating images, layering multimedia, properly citating, and embedding hyperlinks, teachers learn to design flexible templates that foster creativity, collaboration, and differentiated instruction. Attendees will build their own sample projects, discover strategies for scaffolding and accessibility, and leave with ready-to-use resources and lesson ideas that transform a traditional report or slideshow into a vibrant, student-driven digital showcase! This workshop would perfect for today’s blended and inquiry-based classrooms, and especially helpful on allowing students who may not be able to fully attend school to interact with the lessons/presenations that their classmates or instructor has put together.
