Increasing Student Engagement in Physical Education

This session will share research and current data on the direction physical education is heading and what teachers and pre-service teacher educators must do to keep their students engaged and motivated within a physical education program. Topics such as physical literacy, teaching games for understanding, and appropriate assessment practices will be used to guide discussions about student engagement and quality PE programming.
