Thursday 19 February 2026·4:00 pm
Taking literacy instruction outdoors can be simple and fun! Calling all K-2 educators who are interested in using the natural environment to enhance and inspire your phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, and phonics instruction. I will share literacy games, poems, scavenger hunts and more that weave together best practices in literacy pedagogy with the joy of outdoor learning. You will walk away with many highly-motivating, low-prep activities you can use with your students tomorrow!
