Visual Thinking Routines as Scaffolds for Science of Reading–Aligned Comprehension and Writing

This interactive session demonstrates how visual thinking routines can be used as instructional scaffolds within Science of Reading–aligned ELA instruction in grades 3–5. Participants will learn how integrating images into prescribed curricula strengthens comprehension, academic discourse, and evidence-based writing without adding instructional time.
