Algebra tiles 2.0 Grades 9-11

Through modelling and guided practice, participants will explore how algebra tiles support effective mathematics instruction in junior high and high school settings. Areas of modelling and practice will include the multiplication and factoring of different types of polynomials, with an emphasis on building students' conceptual understanding through visual and hands-on representations. Attendance at Algebra tiles 1.0 is not a requirement to attend this session.
