SESSION FULL XC Ski - PRE REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Join Alberta Parks for a discovery/intro/personal wellness cross-country ski in Elkwater!  Learn the basics of xc skiing at the Spring Creek trail network while learning about the Cypress Hills and educational and recreational opportunities.  Equipment can be rented for $20 at the Elkwater Visitor Center (pay upon arrival).  Reserve your equipment ahead of time by calling the Visitor Center at 403-893-3833 and indicate your name, shoe size (including male/female or EU sizing), your weight, and your height. Arrive at the Visitor center at 9:45 am to receive your equipment and make payment before meeting at the Spring Creek trailhead at 10:15. A guided 9km loop to the Willow Creek Hut and back is planned; however, participants will be able to choose a shorter 5 or 7 km loop if desired. Bring a lunch and appropriate winter geaPlease car-pool to the Spring Creek trail head as parking is limited.Pre-registration required.
