Thinking Classrooms Beyond Math: Engaging Students in English, Social Studies, and Science

This hands-on professional development session explores how Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) strategies—such as non-permanent vertical surfaces and random groupings—can be effectively applied in non-math subjects like English, Social Studies, and Science for grades 4–12. Participants will discover how these practices enhance student engagement, foster collaboration and soft skills, reduce teacher workload, and support alternative assessment approaches.
