Session 2  Immerse yourself into the trades Room T124 MAX Participant Capacity for this trades session: 12 After you have learned about the skilled trades, get ready to immerse yourself in them! Teachers, gear up for a hands-on trades session where you can get right into the action. You’ll handle real tools, try out practical shop activities, and see up close how today’s trades blend skill, precision, and problem solving. Learn how to read a blueprint, bolt up a piping system and weld. It’s a chance to step into the world your students could be working in. Roll up your sleeves and come see what the skilled trades are all about.   *In order to participate in this session all attendees must wear proper PPE which include long pants (jeans) and closed toe shoes. We will provide welding helmets, gloves and lab coats.
