Beyond Sport: Educating for Life Through PE Classroom

This dynamic session will show how physical education can become a powerful platform for teaching character, cultural awareness, and social responsibility through the Socio-Cultural Curriculum model. Participants will explore how sports and PE activities can intentionally build inclusivity, empathy, and leadership while meeting SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards. You’ll walk away with ready-to-use, culturally relevant games, teaching strategies, and assessment tools that engage every student and inspire lessons that last well beyond the gym.
