This workshop provides Year 10, 11, and 12 English and English Literature teachers with a powerful toolkit for helping students craft outstanding analytical essays. Led by experienced presenter Ron, the session combines decades of secondary English teaching expertise with dynamic, engaging delivery honed through corporate training and Toastmasters experience. Participants will investigate key essay-writing techniques and strategies designed for immediate classroom application, with a focus on building students' analytical writing skills across senior English and Literature courses. Ron (Critical Agendas presenter)
Ron is an experienced educator specialising in English, Literature, Drama, and Gifted Education with extensive experience across secondary and primary settings. He holds corporate training credentials from Mindshop and is a graduate of The Art and Science of Adult Learning. A published writer and Gold-level Toastmaster, Ron also trains primary students in leadership and public speaking, and is a regular presenter for GATEways gifted education programs nationally and internationally.
