Curating curriculum - enhancing learner engagement and impact
The aim of the session is it to share expertise and approaches (namely the 7Es learning cycle as a means to structure and design learning scaffolds for classroom or teacher development. This will draw on literature and also on evidence and exemplification from SEERIH research and vast array of free-to-access resources. It will critically examine the relationship between the approach and formative assessment. The session will us the 7Es approach to exemplify the approach in practice. ILOS participants will : - describe and explain the different parts of the 7Es cycle - have reviewed and critiqued the impact of the cycle on learner engagement and teacher adaptive approaches / formative assessment Underpinning research: Rahman & Chavhan 2022; SEERIH research/evaluation from practice
