Designing Purposeful Learning: The Evolution of Our Residential Curriculum

From Fall 2022 to Fall 2025, our housing team has systematically implemented a residential curriculum grounded in pedagogy, learning outcomes, and continuous assessment. This session highlights the steps taken to transform our residential experience, showcasing how intentional design, clear educational priorities, and strategic alignment with institutional goals foster student learning beyond the classroom. Participants will explore curriculum outcomes, strategies, and the iterative process that ensures our model remains flexible, impactful, and collaborative, offering practical insights for bridging academic and student affairs in any residential environment.
