Surfing the Cosmic Gnar, A Feet on the Ground/Head in the Stars Training for Earth Learners and Educators

This part-kinesthetic, part-musical, part-historical, part-earth science, part cosmic path-charting training, has been facilitated and continuously developing over the course of a decade and a half. An educational mash-up, using outdoor and interpretive education methods and techniques with the influence of some of Buckminster Fuller’s concepts including systems thinking, artifacts, and teachings that came out of his “Spaceship Earth” period. His home at the time, a small geodesic dome home in Carbondale, Illinois remains the Helm of our integrated-system Spaceship and from where he worked in the Southern Illinois University System to chart a path for global changes and the success of all humanity.  Participants will Learn to Surf the Cosmic Gnar, and will be granted Cosmic Surfing Instructor status.
