Expanding Horizons for Youth - An unsuspected partner

Learn about an ongoing development and partnership with Tim Hortons Foundation exploring the possibilities in providing new experiences for English Language Learners (ELL) in high school and for student leaders. This past May, 60 ELL students recently new to Canada from across 5 high schools in EPSB partook in a spring camp experience fully funded by the Tim Hortons Foundation to experience the Canadian Wilderness. These students were supported by 30 high school leadership students who built bridges and shared their love for Canada with the students over 3 days building new friendships and lasting memories.
