Practicing Divergent Thinking & Storytelling
Part of GETCA 2026
Thursday 26 February 2026·4:00 pm
Looking for ways to help your students develop divergent thinking, curiosity, observation skills, and questioning skills? Join us to try out a few that you can do with your students such as “I notice, I wonder, It reminds me of” and “What about it?”. Need a good story? I will also share a few of my favourite science jokes/stories to introduce concepts of controlling heat transfer, particle behaviour in phase changes, curious development of medical devices, and physical adaptations in the evolution of moose.
