Amigarumi Crochet - Intermediate crochet PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED (Double Session)

In this session, participants will learn how to crochet stuffed animals. Participants will need to have a basic understanding of crochet stitches (chains, single crochet) and how to start a project. Together, we will work through the process of making a stuffed toy that participants will take home. Throughout the session, we will discuss how to incorporate this into the CTS/CTF curriculum and other ways we can use these skills with students in our schools. Participants will leave with resources and materials to complete this project and to take back to use in class. This session does not require pre-registration.  A fee of $25 will be collected at the door to cover the cost of materials. Session Objectives: 1. Participants will learn how to read an amigarumi pattern. 2. Participants will connect crochet to the curriculum. 3. Participants will complete a new project to use in the future.
