Living Systems in 360° – Teaching Biodiversity Using Immersive Planetarium Experiences
Step inside the STEMagineers portable planetarium dome and explore how immersive planetarium experiences can transform the way we teach Living Systems. In this session, participants will view a feature film and examine how biodiversity, ecosystems, and interdependence can be brought to life through visual storytelling and structured inquiry.Led by an Alberta-certified teacher and former school administrator, this session models how our STEMtastic Days pair immersive dome experiences with hands-on STEM activities that directly reinforce the new Alberta Science curriculum outcomes.
