SHAKE UP YOUR OPERATIONAL FLUENCY PRACTICE - PRIMARY

We need to keep our students active and engaged with meaningful practice activities. Come prepared to play our favorite regular dice games using shakers and trays that definitely help you do that! Activities are easy to differentiate to meet the needs of all learners and great for whole class or small groups. Concepts covered: doubles, make 10, commutative and associative properties of + and x, counting on and back, mental math and more. Come prepared to Shake Rattle and Roll and learn some of our most effective strategies for building operational fluency. Session Objectives: 1. Participants will learn many strategies for helping students develop operational a\fluency for addition and subtraction. 2. Participants will learn how to easily differentiate the activities to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom.      3.  Participants will see many student samples that represent assessment pieces and learn how to integrate assessment into their math games practice
