Active Adolescents Require Active Learning

The adolescent development stage consists of active and rapid changes to how middle school students are thinking, feeling and acting. As such, middle school classrooms and instructional practices must be designed to meet the needs of these changes. This session will model engaging strategies to promote active learning in middle school classrooms, and provide a space to collaborate with colleagues on best practices to support the needs of adolescent learners.
